The UK national team again entered the IARU World HF Championship on 12-13 July 2008. This was our second year with the new callsign : GB7HQ.

It was also the sixth time that GB5HQ/GB7HQ has operated as a fully integrated multi-site nationwide station for the 24 hours of the IARU World HF Championship.

GB5HQ/GB7HQ has operated on a multi-site basis from 2003 to 2008 and has made over 88,000 QSOs during these six nationwide contest operations. Details of previous claimed scores and published scores for GB5HQ/GB7HQ can be found on the scores page.
